Turtle Hospital

Oceans of Possibilities includes a virtual visit to Marathon, Florida, based sea turtle hospital. (Did you know there was such at thing?) We will learn about sea turtles, their rehab needs and why they need a hospital.

Movie: Dream Horse, rating PG, running time 113 minutes
The true story of Dream Alliance, an unlikely racehorse bred by small-town bartender Jan Vokes. With very little money and no experience, Jan convinces her neighbors to chip in their meager earnings to help raise Dream and compete with the racing elites.
The third Thursday is movie day at the Main Library. The 1PM matinee is targeted toward adults and will feature just-out-on-DVD feature films as well as classics. Suggestions for future titles are welcome.
