Get a Library Card

Need a library card to access the digital content while the library is closed to the public? Please complete this form and you will receive a temporary card number to access eBooks, eAudio, movies, music, magazines and more.


Any resident of Ohio may register for a library card after presenting a photo ID and proof of current address. A parent or guardian is needed to register children under 18 years of age. Your library card allows you to borrow from our collection of books, movies, music, and more. To register for a card you may use the online form linked above or visit any Pickaway County Library location, including bookmobile stops.

Acceptable forms of photo ID include:

  • Driver’s license
  • State ID card
  • Passport


Acceptable proof of address documents include:

  • Driver’s license
  • Utility bill dated within 30 days of date
  • Current year vehicle registration
  • Postmarked mail dated within 30 days of date


There is no cost to register for a library card. If you lose your card please contact the library immediately; patrons are responsible for all items checked out on their account. There is a $1 charge to replace a lost library card.
