This class will be taught by Jessica Lowe, OSU Extension educator in Family and Consumer Sciences. She will cover how to extend the bounty of spring and summer produce with simple freezing techniques. The science behind food safety will be covered to ensure a safe product for your family and friends.

Jigsaw Puzzle Swap

Are you finished with your old puzzles and looking for new challenges? Then stop by the library and trade your jigsaw puzzles for ones that are new to you. You can swap one-for-one on the spot. Tables will be set up for puzzles of different sizes and types. Puzzles should be geared for adults and have no missing pieces. Bring a picture of it put together, if you have one, to show that it has all its pieces.

Kick off your Summer Reading with a party! A balloon artist will be making animals and accessories from 5PM to 6PM. A concert from the Granville High School Blue Steel Drum Band (6PM-7PM) will put us in a tropical mood to go along with our summer reading theme of "Oceans of Possibilities." MegaBites Food Truck will be in the parking lot selling food and drinks from 4PM to 7PM. While you're at the library, please register to earn prizes for reading over the summer. Your minutes reading will help us reach our community goal of 5,000 hours.
