Reading with Pickles

Pickles will be promoting his love for reading by hosting his own "Read to Me" sessions.  He will be in the storytime room from 4:00 to 5:00 PM waiting for you.  You can pick a book from the youth collection or you can bring your favorite book.  No registration is necessary.

Kid-friendly snacks are the focus of this basic food preparation series for children ages 5-8 (or any child just beginning to make snacks for themselves). Presented by OSU Extension of Pickaway County, it is free to attend, but advance registration is REQUIRED. Reservations can be made online or by calling 740-477-1644. Kids will learn food/kitchen safety lessons as well as nutrition info and recipes. Parents/guardians are encouraged to stay in the class during class time. THIS IS THE FIRST OF THREE in a series. The classes in this series are July 10, July 17 and July 24.
