Part of Pickaway County Library's summer reading program series, Danielle's Animal Safe Haven is a volunteer nonprofit animal rescue.  Please join us for a hands on program that will feature the importance of animal nutrition, veterinary care,  adoption procedure, and necessary supplies to keep your pet safe and healthy.  There will be a craft, fun activities, and adoptable pets for you to see.

Kids Cooking Adventure (ages 5-8) by OSU Extension

Kid-friendly snacks are the focus of this basic food preparation series for children ages 5-8 (or any child just beginning to make snacks for themselves). Presented by OSU Extension of Pickaway County, it is free to attend, but advance registration is REQUIRED. Reservations can be made online or by calling 740-477-1644. Kids will learn food/kitchen safety lessons as well as nutrition info and recipes. Parents/guardians are encouraged to stay in the class during class time. THIS IS THE FIRST OF THREE in a series. The classes in this series are July 12, July 19 and July 26.
