An All-Ages Sensory Storytime at Main

Kids Cooking Adventure (ages 5-8) by OSU Extension

Kid-friendly snacks are the focus of this basic food preparation series for children ages 5-8 (or any child just beginning to make snacks for themselves). Presented by OSU Extension of Pickaway County, it is free to attend, but advance registration is REQUIRED. Reservations can be made online or by calling 740-477-1644. Kids will learn food/kitchen safety lessons as well as nutrition info and recipes. Parents/guardians are encouraged to stay in the class during class time.

The third Thursday is movie day at the Main Library. Today's 1PM movie features a look at the life of reclusive Beach Boys song-writer and musician Brian Wilson.
Suggestions for future titles are welcome. Popcorn and lemonade are provided, and outside refreshments are welcome.

Bats: Shadows of the Night

Part of the Pickaway County Library's summer program series, Ohio Nature Education will share stories, study skins and live animals at this presentation. This activity-based program will dispel myths about bats and "Test your Bat IQ."  All in attendance will have the opportunity to win a bat house.

Join the Pickaway County Library's Youth Services and the Pickaway County Park District for a storytime at the park.  This event will take place at Canal Park Shelter House, 23352 Canal road, Circleville, OH 43113

Following storytime, families are invited to take a guided hike with representatives of the local Park District. This is an optional activity.
