Local resident Kelly O'Dell ran 135 miles in less than 48 hours through Death Valley to Mt. Whitney, California. The Badwater 135 is an invitation-only race for 100 runners that starts at the lowest elevation in North America and finishes at the trailhead to Mt. Whitney summit, the highest point in the contiguous United States. Kelly will share her drive to be an ultra runner and the training it takes to finish races.
