Author
and journalist Sam Quinones joins us for a virtual author visit on Sept. 12 at
7PM. We will host an in-person watch party in the Koch Meeting Room of the Main Library, 1160 N. Court Street, Circleville.
Participants on Sept. 12 will be entered in a drawing for
"dinner with Sam," a free ticket to the Sept. 22 Recovery Celebration
banquet in Chillicothe where the winner will be seated at Mr. Quinones' table. The Recovery Celebration is hosted by Paint Valley ADAM-H. https://pvadamh.org/
Quinones is the author of Dreamland (2015) and The Least of Us (2021), which chronicle America's opioid crisis and are available through the library. Dreamland was Pickaway County's choice for One Book, One Community in 2017. Quinones also works as a journalist and lives in Los Angeles, California.
