Dolly Parton's Imagination Library
Imagination Library
Pickaway County kids under age five can sign up for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library and receive the gift of a children's book delivered to their home every month! There is no cost to your family to take part in the program. Your child will get a new book in the mail every month until they turn five; the time you spend reading those books together will build the early literacy skills your child needs to succeed. And if your child takes part in the Imagination Library from birth, they'll graduate from the program with a set of 60 books!
Educator Cards and Services
Educator Cards
Educators who live or work in Pickaway County can apply for an Educator Card to borrow additional materials for their classrooms and other educational purposes. For the purpose of this progam, educators include preschool-12th grade teachers, day care providers and homeschool providers.

Notary
The library offers free Notary services. Please call the location for availability. (Main Library 740-477-1644; Younkin Branch Library 740-983-8856)
Notaries adhere to the Ohio Revised Code Section 147 and all other applicable regulations and laws.
Requirements:
Individuals must bring a valid, government-issued photo ID and unsigned documents to be notarized.
Documents must be signed in the presence of the notary public. Library staff will only notarize witnessed signatures.
Home Delivery
Home Delivery is available to patrons who may not otherwise be able to visit the library. If you are elderly or have a condition that prevents you from coming to the library, you may be eligible. Please contact the Outreach Manager at 740-477-1644 x 230 to discuss this service.
Early Literacy Centers
The library’s early literacy center (ELC) play spaces encourage learning through play. ELC space is designed for parents and caregivers to help their young children enter kindergarten ready to succeed.
Ancestry Library Edition
(In-library use only) U. S. Census records; military records; court, land and probate records; vital and church records; directories; petitions for naturalization; passenger lists and more. You must be in the library to access this database.
