Library Assistant - Youth at the Floyd E. Younkin Branch

Under direct supervision, this 23-hour position serves children of all ages and their caregivers at the Younkin Branch Library by engaging with them in conversation, activities, and by promoting literacy and reading. This position is responsible for planning, presenting, and promoting quality storytimes, youth programs, services, and outreach. The preferred candidate will have experience working with children, in a library, or in education.

Hours worked may include morning, evening, and weekends. Pay range starts at $15.00 per hour and includes paid holiday and vacation days as well as enrollment in the Ohio Public Employment Retirement System (OPERS). Must be able to travel to and work at the Younkin Library in Ashville and off-site locations.
