  • Gifts to the Library

    Monetary gifts are gratefully accepted and are tax deductible.  If you wish to contribute please contact the Library Director or the Community Resource/Public Relations Coordinator.

  • Gifts to the Library for the Purchase of Books or Other Library Materials

    Monetary gifts for the purchase of books or other library materials are gratefully accepted. Bookplates are placed inside all gift books noting the person in whose honor the book is given and the donor. In the case of gifts for the purchase of memorial books, the donor may designate a surviving spouse, family member, or friend to be notified of the memorial gift. Donors may make recommendations of specific titles or types of books which might be appropriate.

    The purchase of a book for the library collection is a wonderful way to honor a spouse, friend, relative or child, on just about any occasion.

    To make a gift to the library for the purchase of books or other library materials in honor of someone please complete the Material Donation Form that is available at the Circulation Desk or from our website. A memorial book is a lasting tribute to the memory of someone special.

  • Friends of the Library

    The Friends of the Pickaway County District Public Library is an organization established to support the library and its mission in the community. Through the sale of memberships, the book sales, and other activities, the Friends raise funds to purchase new library materials, sponsor library programs, and provide volunteers to assist with activities such as shelving videos and conducting tours. The book sales are held in the Friends’ garage bay at the library on the first and third Saturdays of each month in the spring, summer and fall. Donations of books and audio visual material in saleable condition are always welcome.

    Join the Friends of the Pickaway County District Public Library by coming in and picking up an application at the Friends’ bookshelf by the Circulation Desk.

  • Library Fund for Pickaway County

    This is a specific fund within the Pickaway County Community Foundation. All donations to the fund are tax deductible. The Library Fund can accept money or other assets. The Pickaway County Community Foundation has received 501 (c) (3) status. Donations made to this fund are generally considered longer term than those made directly to the library.
