Online Catalog to Double In Size May 22 - limited access May 16-21
The Pickaway County District Public Library’s online catalog will have limited functions from 9 p.m. on May 16 through May 21.
During this time, catalog searching will be available, but will not accurately reflect item availability. Patrons will not be able to place items on hold nor renew items.
Patrons can check out up to five items and return materials, but the online catalog will not accurately show what items are in/out until May 22. Materials returning to the library will be unavailable for checkout. Patron records cannot be updated with fines/fees payment until May 22.
This time of limited access will allow three additional libraries to have their materials added to the online catalog shared with the Pickaway County District Public Library on May 22.
With the addition of Columbus Metropolitan Library, Worthington Libraries and Southwest Public Libraries, the online catalog will have nearly 1.2 million unique titles, double the current number of titles.
The three libraries are new members of the Central Library Consortium (CLC), a partnership with 11 library systems serving 1.4 million residents across six counties. Other members of the 25-year-old consortium are Pickaway County, Alexandria, Fairfield County, Grandview Heights, Marysville, Pickerington, Plain City and Wagnalls Memorial.
Thank you for your patience during this change!
