David Sager of the Library of Congress will present about Isham Jones, a contemporary of Ted Lewis, on Sunday, April 7, at 1:30PM at the Main Library. Sponsored by the Ted Lewis Museum, this lecture will focus on Jones as a bandleader, composer and native of Coalton, Ohio. This program is made possible in part by a grant from the Ohio Humanities Council.

Jones was a successful songwriter, penning over 100 songs – including I’ll See You In My Dreams, It Had To Be You and The One I Love. His popular band toured the country in the 1920s and 1930s.

There will be a concert featuring Jones’ music on Saturday, June 1, at the Circleville High School Auditorium at 7PM. Tickets are available at the Pickaway County Welcome Center.
